A new three-episode Epic Universe docuseries called \u201cEpic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks,\u201d will offer an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Universal’s theme parks, including Universal Epic Universe, which officially opens on May 22, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n

All three episodes of \u201cEpic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks\u201d will drop at once on Peacock<\/a> on July 24, 2025, featuring rare archival footage tracing the history of the parks as well as interviews with key figures, including directors, producers, executives, and celebrities. The series will also provide exclusive access leading up to the grand opening of Universal\u2019s latest (and some say greatest) theme park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Universal Epic Universe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Universal Orlando Resort\u2019s newest theme park features five immersive lands with unique attractions, dining, and entertainment experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Celestial Park<\/strong>: The hub for the park\u2019s hub-and-spoke design features the dual-launch Stardust Racers<\/a> roller coaster and celestial-themed Constellation Carousel, as well as the park’s two full-service restaurants, Atlantic<\/a> and The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Super Nintendo World<\/strong>: The newest land themed to beloved Nintendo video games features Mario Kart: Bower\u2019s Challenge<\/a>, the Mine-Cart Madness<\/a> coaster, and the family-friendly Yoshi’s Adventure<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter \u2013 Ministry of Magic:<\/strong> Themed to wizarding France from the \u201cFantastic Beasts\u201d movie franchise, the magical land features the Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry<\/a> attraction and Le Cirque Arcanus<\/a> live stage show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Train Your Dragon \u2013 Isle of Berk<\/strong>: Guests are transported to the Viking village from the beloved animated movies, with four attractions\u2014Hiccup’s Wing Gliders<\/a>, Dragon Racer’s Rally<\/a>, Fyre Drill<\/a>, and the Viking Training Camp\u2014plus the Untrainable Dragon live stage show\u2026 and of course, a lot of dragons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dark Universe<\/strong>: Universal classic movie monsters are brought to life in the village of Darkmoor with Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment<\/a>, Curse of the Werewolf<\/a> family coaster, and the iconic Burning Blade Tavern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
